WHAT IS THIS?7時30分までには着きました。 VIP チケットにはステージの正面と側面に座席があり、部屋の端には大きな快適なソファなどを備えた VIP ライザーもいくつかありました。一般入場者は、ロープで囲まれた VIP セクションの側面の周りに立っていました。しかし、私は両方のショーで非常に良いスポットを獲得したので、VIPになるために大金を支払わなくてよかったと思います。最初のショーでは、私はプリンスのすぐ後ろにいたので、彼がピアノを弾いているのを見ることができましたが、多くの時間は彼の背中を見ていました。彼は動き回ったり、向きを変えたりしたので、彼を観察するのに最適な場所でした。あまり詳しくは言いませんが、ショーはとてもユニークでした。彼はボーカルと鍵盤に奇妙なエフェクトとエコーをたくさん加えて始めました（それはもちろん紫色のグランドピアノでしたが、さまざまなエフェクトでだまされているため、単なるピアノ以上のものでした）彼は、3歳で、自分ができるとは決して思っていなかったについて話しました父親と同じようにピアノを弾くことができ、両親は7歳で離婚しましたが、彼は今では好きなだけピアノを弾くことができて幸せでした...まあ、これらすべてについての素晴らしい記事については、ローリングストーン誌の記事を読んでください。

２回目の公演へ。両方のショーのリストバンドを持っていた私たちは、サウンドステージエリアに留まることができました！。私はショー #2 のプリンスの顔を正面から見ることができるように、ステージの反対側に回って場所を確保しました。この番組には、最初の番組にあったような、彼の父親や子供時代に関する要素はまったくありませんでした。 「Wow」という曲から始まり、おそらくショー #1 と 25% は同じですが、75% 異なるセットリストを経ました。そして、「The Ladder」や「Black Sweat」のような本当に予想外のサプライズもいくつかありました。 パープルレインの間、彼は少し窒息して「うわー、音楽がどれほど感情的になるかを忘れていました。別の曲を選ぶべきだったかもしれません。」と言いました。それから彼はさらに感情的な曲をたくさん演奏し続け、「OK、もう1曲悲しい曲を言って、システムから取り出してあげる」と言い、その後「How Come You Don't Call Me Anymore?」を演奏した。彼は最初のショーでそれをからかっただけでした。私は完全に驚きに夢中で、セットリストには何の希望も期待もしていませんでしたが、彼が引っ張ってくれるのではないかと期待していた曲が 2 曲ありました。「Empty Room」と「Electric Intercourse」です（そう、彼は後者の曲を昨年一度演奏しました！） ）残念ながら、それらはポップアップしませんでした。しかし、私は彼の歌にこれ以上満足することはできませんでした。そして 2 番目のショーがちょうど午前 1 時頃に終了した後、バスに飛び乗ってシャトル ロットに戻ることができました。プリンスがキャリアで初めて一人でショー全体をパフォーマンスするのを3時間目撃した後、午前2時というほぼ妥当な時間に帰宅しました。

プリンスは新しいピアノを弾き、それから新しいギターを紹介した。その時写真を撮ろうとしたのを見つける。今後いくつかのショーを行いたいと言い、今はピアノに集中しているためギターを弾いたり、音楽を聴いていない。間もなくPinano & A Microphone コンサートがアルバムとして発表されると話しWhen Will We B Paidから30分流される。(４月14日Foxでの音源か？)

カーバー郡保安官事務所の声明によると、警察官がチャンハッセンのペイズリー・パーク・スタジオに到着した際、エレベーターの中でプリンスが無反応であるのを発見したという。「初期対応者は救命のための心肺蘇生を試みましたが、被害者を蘇生させることはできませんでした。」

午前10時7分に死亡が確認された。警察は、彼の死の状況について捜査を続けていると述べた。

一つ確かなことは、プリンスは夭折するまで全力で人生を生きたということだ。毎晩3時間睡眠をとり、夜明けまで即興コンサートを行っていた仕事中毒者は、亡くなった後、多忙なスケジュールのペースを加速させていた。		 April 26. 2016

13万7,500ドル（約1500万円）で落札された。落札したのはインディアナポリス・コルツのオーナーであり、熱心なミュージック・メモラビリアのコレクターのジム・アーセイ。
